Soroptimists of Langley
Chartered in 1986, Soroptimist International of
the Langleys is now a strong, active club of
approximately 40 local business women.
Several of the existing members were part of
the core group that originally chartered the
club.
In the Langleys, Soroptimist International has
become known as a group of dedicated
professionals.
The club’s projects have a reputation
for being well organized and very successful.

About Soroptimist International

Soroptimist International is a worldwide organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in our local communities and throughout the world. The first Soroptimist club was founded in 1921 in California with 80 members. Today almost 95,000 Soroptimists in about 120 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects that benefit women and girls. While each club determines the focus of their fund raising and community service projects,clubs also participate in organization-wide programs:
